MicroAge

The Breakfast Club was treated to an on-site visit at MicroAge, where we saw their offices, training centre, and of course ping pong lounge! MicroAge was founded in 1981, has been in Regina since 1991, and has been at their new location under new ownership since 2017.

MicroAge's services include fully managed IT for organizations of 15-75 users who don't have any IT team, or for teams who do have IT but allow MicroAge to take theb day-to-day support off their hands. Also, MicroAge offers training for new staff onboarding, migrating to Microsoft 365, or anything that can enhance skillsets.

Many organizations are moving their IT infrastructure to the cloud, and MicroAge assists with this. In addition to allowing people to work from home, they offer the Microsoft 365 Modern Workplace. This was a bit frantic during COVID but now there's efforts to get the end user experience right: secure, easy to use, and feature rich.

MicroAge's training is offered live, instructor lead, online, on-site, or in-class. A full curriculum is available at www.microagetraining.ca where you can create a profile, browse the catalogue, and track courses. Instead of learning the new version of Office, there is now a world of apps, widgets, and tools to empower your team.
