Regina Early Learning Centre

The Regina Early Learning Centre was started in the 1970s when the founder, Anne Luke, saw that some kindergarten kids weren't ready for school. Each year, 96 low income homes receive high quality, play-based culturally sensitive programs that give kids the skills they need to enter their journey. Any children requiring added support are identified and prepared for school. Families receive free child care and children are fed.

Because the 0-5 age group is so critical to development, ELC works with families in the entire community to empower them. As families receive support and kids grow, staff see kids grow up to have kids, with a strong base.

In addition to a full spread of programs, ELC purchased the old Legion building and use it for programming.
