Dentures date back to 7th century B.C., refined in the 1700s as sugar became more widely used. Since then, the process hasn't really changed. A denturist specializes in replacing missing teeth, hand crafting the teeth. So, in a way, they're artists! Up until 10-15 years, dentures were the same - without a good foundation, they moved around a lot. Now, thanks to implant technology, they lock in place.
