D'Andrea Denture Clinic

Dan bought the practice over 20 years ago after selling cattle for the government. He stopped into the clinic and they offered him a job. After meeting his future wife, he spent a few years in school, commuting to Edmonton weekly.

Fun fact: the earliest record of dentures is 7th century B.C., but the 1700s (read: more sugar) created more tooth decay - half of people in their 50s lost their teeth!

Dentures replace missing teeth. Historically, this meant convention dentures but now there are implants that are as close to natural teeth as you can get. No more stories of grandpa carrying his teeth in his pocket! In a similar manner to bolts connected to concrete, small pins are inserted into the jaw bone, and then the denture is connected. This is called osteointegratuon and the bone actually fuses to them. Dan can do individual teeth,  partials, or an entire set of teeth. He can even do repairs like cleft palates.

Dan brought samples of all styles of dentures to show how he's helped people regain their quality of life.
