Regina Chamber of Commerce

On Wednesday, August 19, the Breakfast Club welcomed the Regina Chamber of Commerce, represented by President Mike Tate and his team, Tris Nius and Penni Greensides. Mike has been with the Chamber for 19 months and brings a diverse Regina business background that includes sales management, co-founding Greenwave Innovations, and operating several restaurants.

With a 140-year history and a governance board made up of volunteers, the Regina Chamber is focused on advocating for business and representing the interests of the local business community.

Mike and his team shared their focus on strengthening the Chamber through investment in digital technology and continued advocacy on issues that affect Regina businesses. The Chamber has been active in discussions surrounding the R.E.A.L. development and is particularly engaged in issues such as industrial development, municipal taxation, and ensuring growth benefits the city as a whole.

The team encouraged Breakfast Club members to consider joining the Regina Chamber and becoming more involved in its events and advocacy efforts.
